The Kernan Insurance Agency was established in 1993 specializing in property/casualty insurance and Ohio surety bonds for small to medium sized contractors.
The agency’s founder and President, Jerry Kernan, previously worked for a large regional insurance company and a national insurance broker specializing in the construction industry. He felt there was a need in the Central Ohio construction industry for small to medium size construction firms who sought the same level of insurance and surety expertise as did larger firms.
Since its beginning, the agency has expanded to handle all areas of commercial insurance while maintaining their niche in the construction industry. Surety Bonding, Construction Property/Casualty and Architects/ Engineers Design Professional Liability remain a core area of the agency client base.
The Kernan Insurance Agency also provides personal insurance lines coverage, including home, auto, and life. We represent several excellent insurance carriers to custom fit our clients' personal insurance needs.
